My role involved...
- Led end-to-end UX design across the full berth planning feature, from field research at Finnish ports to post-launch validation
- Translated complex maritime operational data into wireframes and interactive Figma prototypes operators could react to immediately
- Established the core interaction patterns for the timeline view, conflict detection, and role-based permissions — now live across 30+ ports
- Collaborated with senior leadership at Fintraffic and Unikie at Sr. Director level, presenting direction, defending decisions, and aligning stakeholders
- Embedded daily with the engineering team — ensuring every design decision landed in the product exactly as intended
- Sole UX designer on the project — owned every stage from research through final execution
